Animal Wellness of Skaneateles

My 2 year old cane corso needed emergency life saving surgery and they got me in right away when nobody else could. If it was not for the staff here, I wouldn’t have my baby home with me today. THEY ARE ANGELS HERE. and I would recommend them to anyone anytime, a thousand times over. Every single person we came in contact with was so friendly and smiling. I will always talk highly about the staff and the facility.

The front desk is very hard to work with and does not give the correct information. 1. The first time I called, the front desk asked the veterinarian my question about thimerasol content in their vaccines. She told me the veterinarian said that all of their vaccines are thimerasol-free and single dose. She cannot answer my question about pricing and other services and says they will email me Monday. I get no email Monday, so I call Tuesday and double-check about their vaccines and now only their rabies vaccine is thimerasol-free. 2. I asked about their availability and was told they have appointments free within two weeks and given a specific day that was available that was perfect and within my deadline. Then, I was instructed to send veterinary records, but was not told I would have to

I was so thankful I was able to get my new guy, Russell, into this practice. I brought him in for a wellness visit. Anne Marie at the front desk was so sweet. Same for the vet assistant we met next. Dr. Cox was very attentive and made the his first visit so easy. Thank you ladies!!

The very best veterinary office I’ve ever been to. They care more about my two dogs than what they may earn on them. Professional, on-time and extremely caring. If you are going to another vet, I strongly urge you to consider Animal Wellness of Skaneateles. AAAAA+. I’ve been to at least five vets and AWS is light years ahead in their caring philosophy. We have been taking our Boxers to Dr. Megan ever since she opened her own practice in Skaneateles. She has celebrated with us as we brought in our new puppies, made all arrangements to refer our “babies” to Cornell when they too sick to be treated by her, and cried with us as our beloved dogs had to be put to sleep. We just love Dr. Megan.
