Dr. Albrecht and the entire team at Animal Medical Hospital are doing such a wonderful job. I was able to get my senior cat in very quickly in an emergency type situation. Being on a budget, they went above and beyond to help me and my furry friend with donated medications and discounts. So much gratitude for offering crucial life saving skills for our loved ones in the Ashland community. Dr. Albrecht is a very knowledgeable veterinarian I would trust my babies with anytime. I'm happily relieved to have found a great vet I first came here a few weeks ago, when my 18 year old cat got a cold. It wasn't an emergency but I wanted her seen sooner rather than later and Animal Medical Hospital was able to get me in relatively quickly. The diagnosis and treatment from Dr Albrecht was perfect and helped her pull through. I also had much needed blood work done. I'm from LA and am used to both being upsold and receiving huge bills. Neither happened here. Just straightforward good care. I'll be bringing my old girl back for some dental work and have brought my other two cats in to establish care also.

A few months back we took our English Bulldog in for a routine Spaying at our local clinic. They found a giant mass in one of her ovaries and didn’t feel comfortable enough to remove it. We called EVERY vet in Northern California and Southern Oregon to get this taken out within the week. Ashland’s Medical Hospital didn’t even hesitate. She was so confident and not only did an amazing job but gave me peace of mind. My dog looked like she was skipping out to me when I picked her up, she was so happy to be there, right after a major surgery…🤣 Anyway, I couldn’t thank this Vet enough for her expertise and care. Her staff is also the best of the best. Thanks again for all you do.❤️

I arrived before they opened with my cat from the new ER in Medford with catheter and IV lines still attached. The ER only operates on weekends and Dr Lewis said to take him directly to Ashland Medical Hospital. Anyway, they took my Binx right in and set him up for excellent care. My cat is huge, with big paws, and very grumpy, so not easy to work with. I can’t thank them enough. Is it expensive? Of course, it’s round the clock care, but less than the ER in central point for a few nights. Veterinary clinics are very expensive to run.

The final outcome was very sad. However we found everyone we encountered at this animal hospital helpful, kind and understanding. They were great and we appreciate everything they did.
