My dog recently became violently ill all of a sudden. I called the next day and was told to bring her in right away. Ultrasound revealed she had pyrometra, which is life threatening. They performed emergency surgery that day and 4 days later I’m happy to report she was back to her normal, rambunctious self.

Monday morning, my sweet lab woke up and couldn't walk. We waited anxiously for them to open at 7 and they were so kind on the phone. We were able to be worked in after 8am. We saw Dr. Richmond and her team. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with kind staff and they even helped us carry her in with an animal stretcher. I have never met a more kind vetinarian and one who would truly listen to us. She ran a panels/bloodwork on our dog that had never been ran and she caught that my dog had hypothyroidism. Since 2021, my sweet baby has had issues with her GI and her joints, and thanks to their staff, we are finally on a true road to recovery! I cannot recommend them enough!!!! Oh my I am so so disappointed and upset I bring my Pitt Swoop in for a skin condition on his back rear she looks at him and said he is allergic to flees ok he is 5 yrs old never had this problem before but ok she gives him a $41 flee pill and told me to get him zyrtec 3 a day ($21 a small bottle) and charged $52 for the visit so over $100 and a week later he is looking no better at all so I take him back and she said I needed to give it more time AND WAS GONNA CHARGE ME $40 MORE!! So now here we r 3 weeks into pour Swoops itchy red back and no difference he still scratches and chews like crazy we treated our home for all bugs our little dog I got her a 3 month pill so no flees and he is still suffering now im gonna have to start all over with a nother vet and we just dont have $ like that

We love our veterinarian. We've used Animal Medical Center for many years and for many pets and have always received the best care. The change of ownership was so smooth that you didn't even know unless you were told. The recent face-lift of the facility looks great as well. Our dogs are in the very best of hands.
