Animal Emergency of Gainesville

I went in at around 4:15AM my kitten was having N/V and diarrhea they took him in right away, no wait time to get checked in they kept updating me both Kaitlyn and Doctor Sommers while I waited. My little kitten came out feeling way better when we left I'm so glad I took him in. Since is was 3 staff at the time there was a little bit of a wait at the time it was 4-5 animals being checked simultaneously and they all did pretty good on keeping all of us updated and checked in on, we ended up leaving at 0730AM. I truly appreciate there is an open place for animal emergency in Gainesville♥️✨️.

If you have to bring your fur baby to an Emergency VET, make sure it's this VET. Wonderful, kind and compassionate staff. Everything was explained until I was sure I understood it all. Upfront quotes so you are not taken by surprise. So happy they were there when my Chibi was in pain. Thank you All!

I had the best experience with Dr. Douglass and the whole team. We had to bring in our dog Athena and I feared the worst, she wasn't coming home. I was presented with an estimate of all charges up front to perform a full work up. However, with the help of Dr. Douglass we decided to prioritize the testing that would give the most answers and go from there. After each test I was presented with a new estimate,discussion on findings and advice on next step. I absolutely loved this approach as there were no surprises. I'm happy to say we did bring our girl home and she is much better.

The most amazing and caring people. My cat and I have received the best care we have ever seen. The staff is so friendly and never makes you feel bad for asking too many questions. Dr.Eddy is super attentive and knowledgeable. They work with you with pricing and understand that being at the vet is already expensive enough. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Me and my dog came in because he had eaten a dangerous amount of medication. They quickly took him back. I can not express my gratitude for this place. Dr Cody sommers, techs Daniel and Sarah, and the entire team here were incredible. Extremely compassionate, kind, and reassuring. Took wonderful care of my dog Blaze. He’s doing much better thanks to them. 10/10 recommend!
