Animal Clinic of East Avenue

So initially I did like this vet. I had only been once, last year and because of that wanted to go again. They were professional and quick with service and even kind to my pet when I brought him in but where the problem comes in is: communication. I will say I did make an appointment that I had planned to make but unfortunately got my days mixed up and missed the appointment. I had called in some days after the missed appointment thinking it was coming up and just wanted to get some things cleared up beforehand. I was then told I had missed the appointment which was news to me since I never received a call or email saying my appointment was missed or anything. The best vets office! I've worked in vet clinics and with animals and I have pretty high standards. I went to several vets that I was unhappy with until I finally found East Ave. It's a 30 minute drive but it's sooo worth it. They have seen all of my animals - a dog, 2 cats, and even my rat. My dog has had 2 surgeries through them, one at the clinic and one more recently at a surgery clinic opened by the doctor who did her first. They helped me in an emergency with my older cat who they hadn't seen before when I came home after a weekend away and she sick. When my rat had a cyst/bump/thingy on his back I expected the worst but they cleaned it out and helped me keep it clean and homie hung on for a while after that. I loved this office. The women behind the reception desk were cheerful and helpful. The tech who took care of some nail trimming and blood work was really nice. I LOVED Dr Williamson! She was wonderful!

Absolutely love this place! The vet, technicians, receptionists are incredible. The vet broke things down for me to help me make the best decisions for my cat. The vet technicians were personable, very thoughtful, and listened to me so well. The receptionists are so kind and sweet. I would give this place another star if I could! Im not taking my cats anywhere else, but here.

After over 20 years with them, I had a problem with my dogs injured leg. I was told I couldn’t get an appt for 1-2 weeks and to bring him to the outrageously expensive urgent care. I was also told that because I hadn’t been there in almost three years I was being dropped from the practice. I have a vet in florida that I use when I am there 4 months a year. Even though I had been with them for decades, they were uncaring and abrupt when I needed them most. I found a new vet that got me I right away and were very kind and understanding. If you want a vet that is responsive to urgent issues, they will not be responsive and that is very cold and upsetting. Yes this is the correct clinic. My records are under Moose Rundle.
