I placed an order of carpet through Home depot totaling $9,713.96. The carpet installation was completed by this company. However, just one day after the installation, I discovered several visible and unsightly seams throughout the carpeted area. I immediately contacted Home Depot/this install company and provided photographic evidence of the issue. Despite this, no inspection or corrective action was offered. I followed up with multiple phone calls and emails, but the matter was repeatedly dismissed, with representatives stating the seams were "normal." And the installation manager William B said I need to wait until 60 days to contact them again. I posted my pictures here to let everyone see whether it is normal!!!!! We had vinyl flooring installed. We purchased the flooring through Home Depot and installation contracted through American Carpet. The installers were there on time and quickly got to work. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Both installers were Hispanic and spoke some English. I found that not to be a problem at all as they knew what they were doing and did a beautiful job. Will use again. Five stars.

My mother hired Home Depot to replace her carpets… they subcontracted through this company and what a nightmare! It started with a gentleman who showed up late, refused to move the furniture which was clearly stated in the contract was part of their service. He pulled one side of the carpet and saw damage, said he’d be back in 5 and just disappeared. (Which in all reality the man from Home Depot who did the measuring, should have checked before sending the sub contractors) The contractors seem to have no zero experience and brought his wife with him to work… He tried having her help and she had NO idea what she was doing. A little bit of lack of communication but both men were very professional and the order was delayed because it took over a month to install.

Avoid this “Home Depot” contractors, they will waste your time and material. Two weeks I am waiting for my hardwood floor and plywood.
