Ive had a great experience adopting through Akindale. Monique is very thorough and helpful with finding a horse that is the right fit. She knows all the details and ins and outs of each horse and can tell you what will be the best fit and check all your boxes. Her communication throughout the whole process is fantastic and she has helped me with every detail of adopting from out of state. I highly recommend them to find your next partner and will always come back if I adopt again in the future. 5/5 stars.

Extremely happy with my experience and my horse I adopted through Akindale. Akindale is a BEAUTIFUL facility and offers amazing options for OTTBs. I worked closely with Monique to find my next horse. She listened and promised to help me find the perfect horse. I knew that this could take time, but within weeks I met my perfect match. Monique and the Akindale staff were friendly and professional. I look forward to working with Monique and Akindale in the future for horses for my students and if I actually need two of my own.

Love Akindale! I have been part of the adoption process (between myself and clients) of 5 Akindale horses. The facility is gorgeous and Monique has matched each horse perfectly with prospective riders; every horse has come exactly as described. I think their training and evaluation program is excellent and it’s wonderful (and refreshing!) to be dealing with a knowledgeable and honest horse person. I will definitely continue sourcing horses through Akindale and Monique as future needs arise.

Monique was WONDERFUL to work with when I purchased my horse Ziggy from her. She's a talented rider, she knows horses, and she knows people. The first questions she asked me in my interview about adopting where in the horses best interest, not just my own. I was looking at 2 other horses at her place before purchasing Ziggy, and she suggested they wouldn't be a good match because of what I had intended to do with the horse I purchased. I adopted my wonderful mare "Blue Z Gal" from Akindale this past year. Monique could not have been any better. She was friendly, honest, and really wants what is best for the horses in her care. She allowed me to take my time grooming her and I did not feel rushed or pressured at all when trying her out. She loves receiving updates and I highly recommend adopting a horse from her. She knows the ins and out of horses and made the adoption process very easy and reasonable. I love my mare and would definitely adopt from her again.
