The staff at Acute Care Veterinary are so wonderful. I love working with Michelle and Dr Stroller. Everyone is always so helpful. My Maggie girl has been a patient for quite a while

I switched to this vet in September hoping to get better care for my sweet dog, who has severe ear issues. At first, they were helpful. We visited three times, each appointment costing over $200. Unfortunately, my job of 12 years began going out of business, which made it impossible for me to continue spending $200 every two weeks. My dog is now back in pain and crying nonstop. Today, I stopped by simply to explain my situation. I told them I was losing my job and only needed an antibiotic this one time to get my dog through until I start my new job. They refused because they haven’t seen him since September. I understand policies, but compassion matters too—especially when an animal is clearly suffering and has an ongoing, documented condition. This experience was incredibly disappoint

I have two new kittens, did my research and had a good idea what they need, but they had tummy troubles and were only 5 weeks old. Getting an appointment was relatively quick, the vet was attentive and as gentle as she could be, she provided medication, explained the extremely small doses and dangers of overmedicating, importance of hydration and setup a future appointment for vaccination since they did not want to overwhelm their immune system. They are doing much better now and I don't think they will be upset to visit again when it's time.

Words can’t express how grateful I am to have the people at Acute Care. Everyone here is beyond caring, compassionate, and so kind. I lost my sweet Smokey to cancer at only 8 years old. When I didn’t have the words to say, they knew exactly how to handle everything. Thank you to everyone at Acute Care.

Dr. Brucker is great. My dog doesn't like the vet and can be hard to handle but they take really good car of him and us. Even though we live in north Augusta now, we still drive to come and see them.
