Access Veterinary Care

I took my dog Katy to this clinic, and I truly want to thank them for the amazing care we received. From the front desk to the doctor and the entire staff, everyone treated us with so much kindness, patience, and compassion. 🐾💛 They made me feel calm during a very stressful time while I was worried about my little girl’s health. They took the time to explain everything clearly and were always professional and supportive. I genuinely consider this one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a veterinary clinic. You can tell they truly care about both the pets and their owners. 🥹 Thank you so much for taking such good care of Cathy and for all your support. I’m very grateful. 🙏✨

I brought my 1 year old kitten Spyro here after he received a differential diagnosis of ringworm at his primary vet a few weeks ago. Spyro has on antibiotics for 3 weeks and wasn’t responding to treatment. He was scheduled for a biopsy and other tests to figure out what’s going on 2 weeks out at our primary vet but due to Spyro not responding to the medication and declining rapidly I felt he needed it much sooner. I called my primary vets after-hours number and they referred me to Access Veterinary Care. I called Access early on a saturday morning right as they were opening and I was anxious about getting Spyro the care he needed, i did not expect a same day service. Access was so validating, calm, understanding and offered to have me bring Spyro in that same day for his biopsy and tests.

Let me start off by letting u know my pets are my life! They aren't just animals to me. They are my everything! I have always had the BEST care for all my pets here! I HIGHLY recommend bringing your pets here! They not only make sure your pet is comfortable, they make sure you are as well! They also have urgent care which has been helpful in many situations for me. I have NVR left here feeling over charged or like they were all about $$$ they are all about making sure your pet is in great hands and helping your pet get well! I also like the fact they ask u if there are any specific tests u are looking to have done. This has been a HUGE problem for me at other vets. I know my pets. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to the staff at access vet care. They were the only vet that was able and willing to provide our cat Freddy care in his final hours. Though the outcome was not what we'd hoped for, everyone was very sincere, caring, and compassionate throughout the whole process. This one should correct things. : Hazel, a female American Bulldog–Terrier mix, needed someone to care for and love her. One day, when a door was left open, she slipped outside and ran across a busy street toward her favorite pond. Tragically, she was struck by a pickup truck and suffered a severe tailbone injury. Through my friend at the Leech Lake Tribal Police Pets for Life program and the Red Lake Four Winds organization, I was connected with Access Veterinary Care. From the moment I scheduled her appointment, their team showed incredible sensitivity, concern, and compassion. That care carried through her surgery — where Hazel was also spayed — and continued until she returned home. Thankfully, Hazel was able to keep her little tail.
