Access Pet Hospital in Los Angeles took exceptional care of my dog during a very stressful emergency. Dr. Kim Carey performed the surgery and was outstanding from start to finish. She was communicative, transparent about the situation and options, and clearly very skilled, keeping me informed throughout the entire process and making a difficult experience much easier to navigate. The entire team was professional and compassionate, and the level of care they provided earned my trust and future business. I am incredibly grateful for the outcome and would highly recommend Access Pet Hospital, and especially Dr. Kim Carey, to anyone who needs excellent veterinary care in Los Angeles. 🐾

Don’t bring your pet here. They killed my healthy baby turtle. Brought my baby turtle in for a respiratory issue. The vet Dr. Callie Rich explained he would be getting one shot and I could bring him back in a week for more shots if he wasn’t better. She also explained he was healthy otherwise. They ended up giving my turtle 5 shots all at once, without my approval and charging me way over the maximum estimate. They had falsely assured me I would be charged on the lower side of the estimate. They failed to notify me they would give five shots. The most they mentioned were 3 shots. Poor communication and way overpriced. No follow up instructions or what to look for regarding side effects from the shots. Staff was extremely nice for what it’s worth. Edit: my turtle is now dead. The entire staff was welcoming and supportive. The internist Dr. Uematsu absolutely saved my dogs life and her bedside manner is stellar because she is transparent, kind and communicative. Dexter Johnson her right hand man is so kind and helped me understand how to handle medications and I am grateful for every single person at Access for helping me.

My pup, Chance was diagnosed with Addison's disease in July and was in critical condition and needed round the clock care. ACCESS was amazing and took such great care of my pup for 3 nights and called me with updates to let me know how he was doing. They did an amazing job and I can't thank them enough for saving Chance! We were recently there for an internal medicine appointment and they allowed us to wait in the car until they were ready for us to ease Chance's stress. And to make it even easier they had us in and out of there within 15 minutes. It was the easiest and best experience we've had being at the vet. We very much appreciate Dr. Uematsu, her care team and all of the people at ACCESS.

Nothing but positive things to say about Access! Our rabbit had several chronic health issues and the exotic team always made time to see him, fitting him in last minute if he needed. They always gave great care and immense detail when they communicated our options. He had dental procedures that he had a faster and easier recovery than other vets we had been to before. Dr Schacterle and Edin were always so kind to us and treated our rabbit with love and respect. They are superstars and deserve all the accolades. We unfortunately had to put our rabbit down, the entire staff from reception up we’re so kind and made a difficult process easier.
