I’ve been coming to VCG since May 2025. My dog went to many vets around the SFV, I was recommended this office for a mass growing under my boys eye which nobody could figure out. Making an appointment was very easy, the receptionists are all very kind and friendly. We went to the appointment with Dr. Bommarito. The doctor is very kind, sets realistic expectations and is very knowledgeable, he explained everything to me in ways I could understand and gave me my options. I opted for treatment for my pet and he was quickly scheduled for his radiation therapy. Unfortunately during this time they did not have the equipment ready at their location yet so I was sent to Tustin for treatments. I appreciate them having alternatives during construction time. My dog recently completed radiation for a mast cell tumor in her mouth. Dr. Bommarito was extremely knowledgeable and helpful along the way. He’s also reachable by email 7 days a week, which was very comforting should any concerns have come up. The front desk staff and radiation team were all so friendly, as well.

I rarely write reviews but Vet Cancer Group LA is truly exceptional. When I called to make my dog’s first appointment I had just gotten my dog’s cancer diagnosis and was sad and scared. The receptionist I spoke with was not only extraordinarily understanding and empathetic but remembered me from a call I had made to the office previously and remembered my dog’s story. She made me feel like a person not a client. Turns out that was not an exception but reflected the culture of this office. Every single front and back office person I have encountered at Vet Cancer Group has been incredibly kind and caring. When I took my dog in with a mass on her heart I was overwhelmed, and in territory I’d never been before. Dr Bommarito and everyone at Veterinary Cancer Group was kind and welcoming.The Dr explained everything very well, and took as much time as needed to let me absorb and understand the situation and the possible courses of treatment. I am grateful that I live near such a world class animal specialty center, and also for the wonderful people that work there.

I bet they do a really great job here. Unfortunately for us we live a little far away and there aren't many places that do radiology. They were unwilling to do a remote consult here. It's already time consuming enough with us having to drive and take time off for chemo treatments which are closer to us. Taking an entire day off work just for a short consult when we already have done x-rays and CT scans is just too much. We'll already have to plan time off for the actual treatment. Please consider remote consults, we have tons of reports available for all his recent diagnosis, scans and treatments. Cancer is stressful and time-consuming enough as it is. We found somewhere else that was willing to do a remote consult a week earlier than they had in-person availability here. When the other
