Before relocating to Salt Lake City this winter, Sasha had always been groomed at a private home. After speaking with Jared, I was reassured to give ‘a dog’s life’ a visit…And felt even better after meeting him and his wife Lonnie. Sasha is a blind rescue and, as Tennessee Williams said of his most enduring character, “ she’s fierce as a tiger and fragile as a moth.“ Jared and his very kind assistants did a lovely grooming, including a much more-needed expression of the glands. Absolutely love A Dog’s Life in West Jordan! The staff is friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about dogs. My pup always comes home happy and well cared for after grooming. The facility is clean, safe, and welcoming. Highly recommend to any dog parent looking for top-notch care!

I’ve been a patron here for a little more than a year. Overall their services have been alright but after today I’ve decided to move on to a new facility. Anytime I had to drop off my dog it always felt like a mad house going in. For some reason the whole team feels the need to chime in when discussing how I want my dog groomed and I mean the WHOLE team. It leads to a very hectic experience and because everyone is chiming in they never really understand what I’m asking for and always end up cutting my dogs hair wrong to the point of them admitting apologizing on the bad haircut but offer nothing to make up for it. They are also very strict with their drop off time by only allowing a 15 minute grace period which is understandable but can’t seem to offer accurate times for pickup. Just seems

This is the most amazing groomer I have ever been to (and we’ve been to a lot in Utah and in Texas). Jared and his team are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to take care of my sweet, nervous, difficult to groom Yorkie. She’s a rescue who came from a very abusive home and is quite skittish. She really does not like to be groomed and also doesn’t like most people. That said, my pup seems happy with the team here. They are patient with her, taking the time she needs so she doesn’t get too stressed. They’re doing an excellent job at training her to be groomed, too, which I appreciate beyond words. In addition to everything mentioned, they are also great with different style Yorkie haircuts! It’s hard to find a quality groomer that can do unique Yorky hairstyles well. I highly recomm
