I had a hard time finding someone to take care of my cat (Luna), before my vacation. I was calling and texting people and they never answered back. Also I was very concerned about leaving Luna alone. I can’t speak highly enough of Wendi and Michelle and all their staff. When I first meet them 16yrs ago , I had a very reactive dog , and they were so amazing with him. Teddy loved them and was a different dog around them . They became Lifesavers when I became sick and they went above and beyond to help me out with the Teddy to them., he was not just a pet. He was part of their family and they treat each pet as their own. Sadly, Teddy passed and even then , they were so kind to me in my moments of grief. After waiting a year, I am happy to say I have a beautiful little new baby named Daisy and once again, I am so happy to have them in my life. You could never go wrong with them. We used A Better Way for the first time (twice!) in August and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable pet sitter. We recently took in a senior cat and needed someone to look after him during a couple trips we had planned. They took amazing care of him and we came home to a very happy and healthy cat both times. Michele (the owner) and Liz are super professional and loving pet sitters, who really go above and beyond to make sure your pet gets everything they need while you’re away. They do the basics like feeding and scooping litter; but also gave him daily brushing, played with him, and gave him lots of affection. Best pet sitting in the area! They have a meeting with you to walk through your home as a new client to determine all of your pet's needs. Billing is sent to your email (which I really appreciate it). They provide detailed notes for every day they visit with pre-maid sheets that, to me, are truly wonderful to come home to. :D Best of all is their service and compassionate care. We had a family emergency recently, and Better Way Pet Sitting jumped in and was able to look after our cats. It was truly valuable to have a service we trusted when we needed it. The most important aspect of a pet care company is reliability, which you will get 100% with ABW. I used them frequently when I had knee surgery and couldn't walk my puppy, and continued with their services for the convenience of being able to stay at work through lunch. They always come exactly when they said they will and I love how they leave me notes after each visit! My pups were well taken care of!
