I adopted a young teenager cat this past spring and couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. My Nova is now a very happy, very vocal part of the family. They told me when I adopted him that he is a chatty fellow and they weren't wrong. I wouldn't have it any other way. :) Thank you 2nd Chance for doing what you do. You all rock.

Very kind and friendly, helped with my questions & concers! Such kind staff members and they offered me other advice that I had about some major concers reguarding a dog that needed to be re-homed and receive rehabilitation. Now, thankfully, she found her fuuurr-ever home & is doing so much better, she is growing up, Happy & Healthy 🥰

I’ve been debating whether to leave a review but after all the feedback I’ve gotten from other rescues that I’ve been working with for years, they suggested I should for the benefit of potential out of state adopters. First off, I believe no rescue should ever get below 3 stars. The amount of compassion and courage it takes to rescue and shelter animals is unmatchable. Just like any no kill rescue/shelter, it takes a huge toll on the volunteers caring for unwanted, abandoned, abused, and neglected babies. They have to pick up the pieces and gain the trust of every animal they take in. Respect and honor that always. However, 5 years ago I adopted a very timid scared little kitten.
