Just called to get an estimate on vaccinations on my new rescue and was disappointed that they refused to give an estimate over the phone. They stated I had to bring my pet in to get a wellness exam before they could offer any pricing. I find it strange as a new dog owner not wanting to get ripped off number one nor do I want to bring my unvaccinated pet to a vet clinic making them more susceptible to getting sick unless I was going to get there shots at same day appointment. As we know vet visit can be very costly so price transparency should be available even if it is just an estimate.

Went in for an emergency visit with a male cat with UTI symptoms. We didn't have enough money on hand to get all the tests they wanted for 1200$. Didn't want to offer us info about billing or getting insurance or credit. They saw him very quickly and offered a check up for 80$. Told us his vitals were good but his symptoms don't align with UTI. Refused to give us any more info than that idk if it's liability but I didn't feel confident that his health was their top priority. After they called us to pick him up we wanted in exam room for about 45- 1 hour before they brought him in. I have been going to this vet since 2015. It was very easy to get and make an appointment. Over the past 10 years I have spent thousands of dollars here because I had a blue nose pitbull who developed skin allergies. Doctor G was the best, the staff changed several times, some stayed but once they have gone corporate and doctor G moved to surgery is when I noticed the down fall. Now they have a doctor there that might be a director for the business whose sole position is to push labs, specialist in the Bay Area, procedures meanwhile I was told she can’t even read x-rays. This doctor is more concerned with the way she words things they actual treatment plans. I love the new vets and the staff are so friendly! Always have a smile! My dog is normally scared of strangers, even nipping at most. He was very well behaved with the staff and the vet, which not only surprised me, but felt incredible. Wonderful place!!
