Village Oak Veterinary Hospital

The best veterinary hospital in the Central Valley! They make me and my 10 yo Yorkie, Rhomeo feel like family and take excellent care of him!! I've been going to them for the past 8 yrs for vetcare and boarding, and I trust them with his life, literally! The facility is always clean and the staff is very friendly. My dog was born with mitral valve issues (common for his breed), but recently started to not feel well. They got him in quick and we realized he had experienced a heart valve muscle rupture. Dr. Fitzpatrick diagnosed him quickly and started the treatment he needed, while also referring him to Cardiology. He had all of his testing done in house (event echocardiogram with the cardiologist) and he has been put on meds and I now have my Rhomeo back to his normal self and more time

I had to send my dog to heaven, they had never seen him before and were so so amazing. Even as I was ugly crying and hysterical, the doctor told me I was being so brave for him as I held him through it. He was an old boy, but she was amazing. So gentle with me and my big boy. Thank you so so much, truly.

My dogs have been going to Dr.Lacy for many years. My older one is 17. She is very kind and compassionate with my dogs. She does have limited days that she is in. Since I go between 2 different cities, Scheduling can be tricky but she’s worth it. The care she’s given our dogs has been the best.

I love everything about Village Oak Veterinary Hospital--the service, the option to board our dogs, the thoroughness of solutions they offer to find the root of any problem. Much like health care for humans, I just wish veterinary care in the U.S. were more affordable.

Dr. Fitzpatrick is the best cat vet in California. I have lived all over California for the past 40yrs and taken my cats to many vets, Dr. Fitzpatrick always knows more about cats than the other vets. I started going to Village Oak Vet in early 2000s and then moved away for 20yrs, and then moved back. One of the reasons I moved back to Modesto is because I knew I could get the best care for elderly cats. I really recommend him over the other vets at Village Oak (sorry), I think he specializes in cats or at least is more knowledgeable about them than the other vets.
