I have been bringing my two small Yorkie's to this wonderful place since I have had them. Every time I have been satisfied. I brought them in this month and they came home looking like rats. No grooming requests that are hand written on the dogs grooming instruction card.... Very disappointed.... The usual girl was not there and never thought to have to give instructions. Very disappointed ☹️

After less than 2 hours at the groomer, Orion was looking and smelling like his handsome self again. I'm pretty sure he feels better after they removed a bunch of his winter fluff. He got fully detailed with a nail trim, teeth cleaning, and a bath with his personal soap due to sensitivities. The staff are very attentive and asked about allergies, taking down notes when I dropped Orion off, and giving a report on what a good boy he was at pickup. 10/10 would recommend

I brought my dog to Yorktown Pet Grooming in April to get bathed; he’s a pit mix. The place smelled horrible and when I put my dog in the car I noticed that he smelled dirty. About a week later I felt crusty scabs all around his neck and under his arms. I took him to the vet which cost me over $1000 for skin tests to see if it was a parasite. They said he was having an allergic reaction to something. He must have picked something up there. He’s been on antibiotics and other meds and prescription sprays. Well to this date 6/11/25 he is still having issues with his skin and my poor boy seems so uncomfortable. I will NEVER take my dog back there again!!! I had to give it one star in order for it to post or I would have given it a -10.

We instructed them to give our Pomeranian an even medium length cut. Instead, they shaved him and permanently damaged his double coat. The person grooming our dog seemingly did not speak English and was unable to communicate with the person working the front desk.
