Dr. K goes above and beyond treating and taking care of his patients. He calls with results immediately and is always available via email shall something arise . His commitment is unbelievable. Even calling during his vacation when our dog fell ill. He was able to help our dog and she is doing so much better! The staff are pleasant and professional. So very thankful for your dedication to our fur babies.

I have my dog at home with an ear infection, she's tearing up her feet and has kept us both from sleeping cause my girl is going THROUGH IT. She hasn't had the best experience with previous vets so I called Yorktown Animal Hospital to see if she can be seen for her ear infection, I was able to get a same day appointment and bring my Mavis in. Right away we were greeted by a friendly front desk staff, I must sing the praises of Cheryl, what an absolute angel in the veterinary field. Mavis has a LOT of anxiety, she doesn't do well in vet offices or anywhere new, she stresses herself to the point that she needs a muzzle because I'm not sure how she's going to react. Mavis and Cheryl hit it off right away, to the point where Mavis was resting her head on his shoulder during her exam for comfo

Dr. LoPrete was so patient and kind, taking the time to explain every step of the process with clarity and empathy. In a moment filled with heartbreak and uncertainty, we never felt rushed. We felt supported, heard, and understood. Losing Lilly was more than losing a pet, we lost a piece of our family that day. In the middle of that pain, Nurse Cheryl came in and simply hugged me. 1M paws up for Dr. K! He’s helped me care for three of my dogs. Schnauzers can have sensitive stomachs and he listens and never over-tests. Always goes with a sensible approach. And knows Eastern med. All that plus his compassion (and jokes) make him truly a one-of-a-kind vet.

Our puppy became sick and our neighbor told us about this place. We were very pleased with the care and attention given to our puppy by all staff. Our puppy was 100% better just after a few hours in there care. Highly recommend
