York Bark and Play

We are fairly new to the area. The staff is great; they are always so kind. We have two large dogs that have had daycare and we have boarded them for 10 days, because we took a trip. The staff has always been more than helpful. Our Newfie/ Berner mix knows when we have hit route one. He gets so excited. He cries in the car out of pure excitement. The staff will do extras to help make our dogs stay more enjoyable. We have not been disappointed.

This is the third year we have used York Bark and Play. This time with two dogs. The staff have been super accommodating for our elderly dogs and always greeted us with a smile. If you never have been to York Beach, between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. you are allowed to bring your dogs to the beach and let them run around and play. (caveat: this shouldn't need to be mentioned but I will anyway. You must clean up after your dogs). We did this for a few mornings then brought them back to YBP. I like that they publish photos and a video everyday on Facebook so you can see your dog interacting with other dogs during play time.

We love York Bark and Play! Our two pups have been going here a few days a week for five months now. They treat our dogs like they would treat their own. We boarded them for a night while we went to a wedding and I wasn't worried at all because I knew they were in good care. We would highly recommend!

York Bark and Play is amazing. We have left our dog, a Samoyed, for a day all the way up to 2 weeks. I never worry about him when he is there. The staff does a wonderful job, the kennel is clean, and it is great seeing the pictures and videos they post. 100% recommend 👌

This is the best place to bring your dog when you’re going to the beach. The best part about this kennel is that they do daycare and when you’re boarding your dog there you can opt to have your dog included in the daycare session when they get to go and play with other dogs. But my favorite thing about this kennel is that for about an hour every morning they let you take your dog out of the kennel so your dog can go run around on the beach for an hour
