Mannerly Mutts Maine Dog Obedience Training

Our Golden Doodle Maggie started her training at Mannerly Mutts with Robin Rubin when she was 8 weeks old. It was the best thing we ever did! Maggie is 4 1/2 years old now and we get many compliments as to how well behaved she is. Mannerly Mutts is a loving environment and Robin is dedicated to her work. If you have a dog that has any issues Robin is what we lovingly call a dog whisperer!

We have been taking our puppy to Robin for 5 weeks now it has been great! She is flexible if something changes in our schedule! We highly recommend her to anyone with a dog. We will continue to use her for out training needs!

I rescued a small mix who had suffered severe physical abuse. Two previous trainers were duds. Mannerly Mutts is the real deal, a true benchmark of what a training facility should be. Robyn is so tuned in to my dog that its almost metaphysical. They create a blog for your dog and she posts all the training sessions so strong reference points exist as you work with your dog. I was given training wit h my dog Otis and Robyn was so focused on success that neither one, man and dog, wanted to disappoint her. Highly recommend!!!

A game changer! I can take my dog anywhere with confidence. Mannerly Mutts is amazing. I’ve trained 4 dogs there. The dog comes back happy confident and very well behaved. They come, stay, heal, place, down and sit. And for the last 2 dogs they taught my dogs to ring a bell when they need to go outside! To be fair the dog’s behavior will slowly decay to whatever level I chose to maintain. But Robin takes the time to train the owner and creates videos that help me reinforce good behavior. So it really is up to me.

Robin was such a wonderful trainer, helped us really get control of our reactive dog and learn how to calm her down and get her to respond to our commands rather than reacting to what is upsetting her. We did 12 weeks of training and the improvement we have seen in Skyler during that time is just incredible. I highly recommend Mannerly Mutts to anyone for any dog, whether you just want to learn basic obedience or learn how to handle an aggressive or reactive dog. Thanks again Robin!
