The staff is wonderful to us. Could tell that they were wonderful with the animals by the way the Chihuahua Walter interacted with them. We adopted Walter and he is absolutely wonderful. So smart and well behaved. We love him so much. Would adopt from this shelter again

Today was my second adoption from a rescue league his name is Leonard a seven month old golden retriever. I got him for a companion for my boxer black lab that I got in Sterling rescue league last year. I would highly recommend both of these locations. Worcester was awesome and so helpful on choosing what I needed for a companion for my other dog. Please visit both locations for there are such beautiful cats and dogs that need a loving home. Please take a visit to both locations. You cannot go wrong.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with this rescue’s adoption process. Their website outlines a detailed procedure, which I followed carefully by arriving prepared and on time. However, upon arrival, I was informed that three other people were also waiting to adopt the same dog. I was asked by a staff member to wait my turn to meet the dog, which I did patiently. Unfortunately, I was later told that the dog had already been adopted by someone else, without ever being given the opportunity to meet her. This process felt unfair and inconsistent with the rescue’s stated goal of finding the best possible home for each animal. Every time I’ve interacted with them, it’s been clear just how deeply they care for every single animal that comes through their doors. They don’t just help animals, they fight for them, love them, and do everything they possibly can to give them the best chance at a happy life. The people who work there are truly amazing. You can see the passion in the way they talk about the animals, the patience they show, and the effort they put into every rescue, treatment, and adoption. disappointed with my recent interactions at WARL, specifically with Kim and their team taking care of their cats. i was interested in adopting Coco, a lovely kitten who has some digestive issues going on. Kim and her team were nothing but secretive regarding her condition and the vet tech actively giving her medication was unable to provide me the name of the pill she was taking. At one point Kim mistakenly called me instead of previous owners and I found out she had lied directly to my face about Coco's condition, the duration of her diarrhea, and her treatment plan. While I did find out Coco is taking prednisone, and she may be responding well now, long term use of prednisone in cats will ultimately shorten their life span, a cat who needs this medication long term with NOT live very lon
