Woodfield Veterinary Clinic

My dog's vet retired a few months ago, and sent their records to Woodfield. Being that there are closer vets to where I live, I did some research. Out of 3 places, 2 do not have stellar reviews. The third one tried to give me an appointment almost 4 months out. Not acceptable. So I called Woodfield. They offered many appointments within a two week period. They worked around my schedule (I am a single dad), which I appreciate. They also gave me detailed directions. I like that. Easy to find and they have a fenced yard. The Vet Tech came outside and greeted us. Excellent first impressions. Having 3 dogs, I am used to controlled chaos. Not here. No chaos. My dogs warmed up immediately to the doctor and Vet Tech. Both were excellent with my dogs and went through everything that my dogs need

I recently lost my childhood cat after 18 wonderful years with him. On the day we had to make the hardest decision to help him cross the bridge, Woodfield Veterinary Clinic was beyond incredible in this hard time. I couldn't find a local vet that would help the same day. He was suffering and I couldn't wait. Woodfield Veterinary Clinic was able to fit me in within 2 hours of calling. They were very professional while being very sympathetic and empathetic of the situation. As any pet owner, I questioned if I was making the right decision. They explained to me the symptoms and ensured that I was doing the best thing for him. Truly an incredible group of people.

We love the care our pets get with Dr. Spelman, & Dr. Skipton provide so much reassurance and confidence in new pet owners. I appreciate I can call them with anything symptom, and they evaluate with confidence if it’s an emergency or an observation period. I appreciate the entire staff at Woodfield Veterinary Clinic, they are so loving and supportive. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking high quality pet care.

My husband and I have used Woodfield Veterinary Clinic for over 30 years for a variety of pets including cats, a rabbit, and a Guinea pig. The staff has always treated us and our pets with utmost care and consideration, and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that our pets live long healthy lives. When we have had to say goodbye to our beloved friends, dignity and compassion reign. I can’t say enough good things about this practice

Our whole experience with Woodfield Veterinary Clinic has been wonderful. We love that they have an app, they make ordering our prescription food easy, and everyone was so nice. We loved our Vet and Assistant: our cat Frost did too. He got lots of love and pets. I highly recommend them for your kitty needs.
