Damascus Veterinary Hospital

I wanted to share this. We recently had to put our dog Waffles to sleep, he was 16 years old and incurring heart failure. Not that there’s ever “better timing” to lose your pet, but we had family vacation planned since six months prior and we were to leave the following day. While on vacation, I read on a grief forum about a man whom had to also put his fur baby to sleep due to heart failure as well, and that he got an ink blot of the paw print the day they said goodbye. I had never heard of this, and it made me more upset as I shared this with my husband that I really wish I had known this was something people do so we could have done the same. Well, upon arrival back home from vacation there was a letter that came in the mail from Damascus Vet Hospital. My husband took it inside to read,

My pet received great attention, i feeled as the only customer they have , the full team took care of my lady dog. All members of the team, starting from the reception , assistants and the doctor gave us a great service. Everything was explained in a simple way that I understood clearly. From now forward, this vet hospital will be my primary care team.

We have been taking our min pin, Cocoa, to Dr. Armstrong for years. Now that she's older (15) and her needs are changing, Dr. Armstrong always makes solid recommendations for us to help her age as healthily as possible. Her staff is amazing, always making everyone feel welcome! Especially the animals!:)

They have been terrific to deal with. My Scottish Terrier received a diabetes diagnosis at age 10 and I’m so fortunate to have had the staff at Damascus Veterinary Hospital to help guide us through it. Ellie is doing better and better and we are very grateful.

Extremely kind and attentive staff! Dr. Armstrong is always so knowledgeable and accommodating. We decided to leave our prior vet because we did not receive adequate service. Not here!! We made the switch to Damascus vet about 4 years ago, and even though it's a longer drive (about 15 extra mins), I don't mind because I know my pup is getting the best service/treatment every time we come here!
