Willits Veterinary Hospital - Basalt

The Willits team was super responsive and kind! They were easy to work with and quickly took care of my pet. I found the prices to be reasonable and the staff to be so supportive.

I am blown away by these guys! They genuinely CARE about your dog. It's very cute how warm and friendly they are. The nurses, front desk people, and Vets. To a person, you can tell this group loves animals, they're as good as you could ever ask for medically speaking, etc. Only advice I have is get on their schedule early. Everyone in this area knows they're great so they're booked a lot but they do try to fit you in. Cannot possibly say enough about them. Very touched by how they treat our dogs when we bring them in. To be honest, their vibe towards animals gives you hope for humanity in these wild times!

I brought in my son's 10 month old Bernese Mountain Dog who was very very sick. Extreme pain in back and paws and high fever. Dr. Emily was extremely kind and thorough. She had some initial thoughts and after testing confirmed that the dog had meningitis. She immediately got her on an iv drip and steroids. This dog had a similar bouts but was previously diagnosed in Denver with a back strain and given pain killers. This is a huge game changer to get a correct diagnosis. It's been just over 24 hours and the dog is back to eating and wagging her tail. Dr. Emily was a life saver. I can't recommend this vet enough. Compassionate and incredibly knowledgable. During our first visit, our dog Henri was calm and cheerful with the wonderful Willits staff attending to him. The 3 shots he was due for were no problem. He has good intuition! I would definitely recommend Willits Veterinary Hospital.
