Williamson County Animal Hospital

We took all of our dogs and cats here when we lived in Williamson County years ago and they were great. We came in last night from Maury County and they were great again! They know our current vet and it is a great after hours option until 10:30pm. Thank you all for the great care for Remy!

Our sweet 15 year old Gracie passed away two Fridays ago (5/30/2025). Her primary vets were Dr. Barrett and Dr. Rader. Since WCAH does not offer in-home euthanasia, we used a different vet for that, which WCAH completely understood and were very kind and genuinely respectful about, due to Gracie’s severe car anxiety. Even if she didn’t have car anxiety, I can tell that they would have respected our wishes to have her pass away in the comfort of her own home, regardless. Anyhow, within 15 to 20 minutes of me calling to notify them that she had passed, Dr. Barrett called me to offer her sincerest condolences and listened to me for quite a while, as I talked about Gracie and shared details of what had transpired during the final week, leading up to Gracie needing to cross the Rainbow Bridge

My mom and I brought her dog here last Friday night because our vet was closed. The staff was extremely helpful and very kind. They ran some blood tests which showed liver enzymes that were so high that they could not be calculated. The staff made arrangements for us at NVS emergency room to get an ultrasound (who were also fantastic). Ultimately, we got answers even though they weren't the answers we for hoping for. Williamson County Animal Hospital did a wonderful job and treated us compassionately. I highly recommend this hospital.

Get an up front cost!! I have been a loyal patron through many many pets. However, I was tricked today into an $86 bill for my dog’s nails being trimmed! I stupidly said she might have a snagged nail, was taken to a room without my consent of a doctor’s visit and charged a doctor’s vet visit for my dog to have her nails trimmed!! When I tried to protest the bill, they smarted off, smirked, and billed me anyways. Make sure you get a consent up front at this place!! It is no longer about the clients and their pets, it’s about the money being made!! Very disappointing.

Dr's. Shawn Reynolds and James Reynolds are so caring about my dogs. They listen carefully and ask questions to be certain of which steps to take. I am extremely grateful for their desire to make the right decision and not rush to do something not helpful.
