After a terrible experience with another nearby emergency care facility, we were relieved to find VEG’s team so calm and efficient. They quickly admitted him and the nurse checked him for any emergencies, even though they were already dealing with other urgent cases. You can watch and appreciate their efforts with other pets as they have an open space. While the doctor was still busy with emergencies, the nurse cleaned our dog, who had diarrhea and vomiting twice. There aren't many emergency choices south of 440 in Nashville (I-65). Our dog had a traumatic medical event, so we scooped her up and headed north. We went to a competing emergency vet. Though there were no cars in the parking lot and nobody in the waiting room, they turned us away. The interaction with the front desk person was awkward, and the explanation of why they couldn't treat our dog wasn't really believable. We then went to VEG to find care for our dog. From inside, they noticed me approaching and "hot-footed" their way to the door to open it for us. We had to take our dog to the emergency vet because he got into the road and ran over. We had a great experience at VEG ER for Pets. Dr. Forester and Nurse Kiana were amazing! They were very thorough with Cowboys care. Highly recommend them to anyone who needs emergency after hours care!

They were incredibly kind, present, and knowledgeable. There was no feeling of panic, all peace even when they were busy. My sweet baby received the best care I could have asked for. Seeing the way the staff cared for every animal and owner that stepped through the door as if they were family was really special.

VEG ER for Pets is the best of the best!
