Whole Pets Market

I've been shopping at Whole Pets for a few years now. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are as to be expected from a smaller "Mom & Pop", but still very much in line with the big box pet stores that have ignored Bayonne for far too long. I'm in weekly picking up cans of food for my cat and they always have what I need in stock, but if they didn't they'd gladly order it and call me when it came in. Though I haven't utilized either service, they have a self serve dog grooming area and on Sundays they have a low cost vet clinic that is very popular.

The petshop is pretty clean and nice customer service. Just a bit pricey over here. For example, a rabbit cost $100, bird food is $8 +, rabbit toys over $5.

During my first visit to Whole Pets Market in Bayonne, I was warmly welcomed by Patti, who guided me through their clean and convenient self-wash stations, making my dog’s bath time effortless. The store offers a unique selection of pet products you won’t find in big-box retailers. The checkout was exceptionally friendly, adding to the pleasant experience. The entire staff’s dedication and personalized service make this a wholesome place that caters to all your pet’s needs.

Grossly overpriced. Eg 30lb bag of Purina Pro Sensitive Stomach cost the same $97 as 40lb elsewhere. Similar experience with raw food we attempted to buy. Today, all 3 dog wash areas were open but wouldn’t allow us to use 1 because we didn’t have an appointment. Won’t ever go back again.

Absolutely love this site! Anything you can think of is here. The customer service exceeds what you would expect at ANY of the stores in this location. The phone service is also great. Knowledgeable and positive staff are available to help with any pet or product inquires you may have. Definitely my go-to for pet needs!
