Love this place. Very reliable and very honest. I went to another vet that falsely claimed my cat had a heart murmur and wanted to do a $600 EKG before they would neuter him. I brought my cat to Westside, didn't mention anything about the heart murmur and had the vet at Westside do an exam. It turns out my cat was completely fine no heart murmur. He had his surgery and 1.5 years later he has absolutely zero heart issues. My cat also hates people with a passion but our visits go quickly and smoothly every time. I highly recommend Westside.

We had a VERY sick rat on a Sunday! We live in Spencer & there are NO exotic animals vets out here. & even worse on a Sunday evening, as all of the urgent care vets that might have seen him otherwise were closed. I was finally able to get through (it's took a couple tries) to make sure they could see him & they said come right in. When we got there they immediately took us back & put us with a tech & a vet came over within a couple minutes. Everybody was awesome with handling him with care and trying hard not to cause additionally stress. They were great with providing realistic options & pricing. Dr. Alyssa Vincent is the reason we come to Westside - she is so connected to my pet and understand all of his needs. I am so grateful that she takes the time to thoughtfully understand and look him over with a conscientious and holistic approach. Her recommendations are always spot on and my dog is happier for it! I had the displeasure of dealing with Dr. Platko who was very insensitive and harsh with my dog, Tanner. I gave her grace and returned but every visit I had with her was so extremely unpleasant for both me and my beloved Tanner. Today I requested a new doctor, and the difference was night and day. I had Cheyanne, and Dr. Roy. Cheyanne and Dr Roy were so kind, pleasant, reassuring, and attentive. Dr. Platko is a HARD pass.

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here at Westside. The entire staff, from the front desk to the vet techs and doctors, is friendly and attentive. One of my dogs is shy, so I book their wellness exams together. They will do labs and vaccines with you in the exam room, if you ask, and make the entire visit as smooth as possible. We went to Dr. Branca earlier this year, and she is fantastic. She’s attentive, listens, and is extremely sweet and patient with the dogs. I’ve never had any issues with any of the team, but she’s our go-to from now on!
