We cannot say enough amazing things about Yukon West Animal Hospital. Our dog Stormi needed emergency surgery for pyometra, and we were absolutely terrified. From the moment we walked in, they treated us with compassion, kindness, and zero judgment. They were willing to work with us financially, which truly saved our dog’s life. The staff kept us updated every step of the way, answered every question we had, and made sure we felt informed and supported through such a scary situation. They took incredible care of Stormi, and she is now home safe and recovering beautifully. You can tell they genuinely care about both the animals and the families who love them. I was referred to this clinic after live saving measures had to be taken on my male dog at a pet er in okc, and you all are truly a gem to us! Dr Reed has been hands down excellent with his puzzling condition, and is extremely knowledgeable about everything we’ve asked! Today, they got to meet my female dog, and Dr Roach evaluated her and was absolutely excellent as well and very familiar with the issues! They actually got her squeezed in same day for her emergency situation and have her on the road to recovery! The ladies at the front desk and the techs have all been wonderful and very helpful with us and always have gotten us seen quickly! Update: Mandy, the office manager, called me back the very next morning to apologize for the situation and was so very kind! I also had to call again as my new puppy was having an issue and they got her some medication and moved up her next appointment. I feel they have gone above and beyond making this situation right and really caring for my puppies and cats. Thank you! I would love to give 5 stars for the vet techs and the vets - they are so kind and attentive to our pets needs. We recently got 2 new puppies and I had made their first appointment for them a few weeks out, but then I discovered one had worms and I called panicking and they were so kind to get me in that same day. I had a bad a very bad experience here. I rescued a 13 pound pug that was thrown outside for over a year. She was skin and bones. The staff was great but the doctor came in. I had many questions. She came gave all of the shots. She did not want to even touch her. She shoved a big q tip in here ear and it hurt her. She then said I will look under the microscope and did not come back. The staff told me that I could leave. Never going back.
