Customer Reviews
We had our first puppy training last Saturday. Wendy was great! She is very knowledgeable and knows her stuff. Our dog Marley (and us) learned a lot on the first day. We are looking forward to finishing the full course.
She is a very nice lady with a lot of Patience. The equipment is older, and the place is definitely "worn", but for the price it's perfect and everything works. If you're looking for shiny and new, or a doggy day care atmosphere this will not be the place for you. I've only taken my dog once, but I am definitely going back. We were able to try all the equipment and my dog did well. She's an extremely active breed. She slept great that night. Now that it's cooling down, we will be taking advantage of the 6 class bundle (probably more than once).
I went to Wendy’s training class for guidance in training my dog Rosy. I tried home classes without success because the trainer, unfortunately, was a no show. I like these classes because Wendy teaches you why your dog does the unwanted behavior. The techniques work. It’s only an hour on a Saturday for six weeks and the cost is very reasonable. handouts are provided for homework. So far, so good 👍
I was not impressed with Wendy's training methods. I have had the same breed of dogs for years and they are not an easy breed to train. I did not finish the training... the class dwindled after the first couple of weeks from about 15-20 to only about 2. I was one of those 2. It was great in the beginning for socialization purposes, but not for training purposes. I am sure that she was a great and good trainer at one time, but not so much now....
Wendy is kind and knowledgeable. The comment that the equipment is older and worn is true, but it did not seem to bother my poochies. If you want the bougie experience, then look elsewhere. You will also pay the price for the bougie experience...I was fine with the worn equipment. Glad I stayed the course. There are only 2 dogs in my course and they are both my dogs. We have great attention and I feel that after 1 class we are already learning. I will continue to post after our next classes. I will also reserve the 5 star rating for after the 3rd class. More to come...
