Wagpride Dog Grooming and Pet Store

After a horrible experience with a mobile groomer here in Ft. Lauderdale last year my sweet 5 year old pup would freak out as soon as anyone tried to groom his paws…. Well after researching and reading many reviews i stopped in to meet the staff at Wagpride and met Paula the Groomer….i explained my concerns and she eased my mind and I made an appointment! Well today my guy was groomed to perfection and Paula even took a Video showing me how relaxed and behaved he was while she trimmed his paws! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! 100 stars for the best experience and super friendly staff….

I had a great experience with WagPride. I spoke with Paula on the phone on Sunday and she got Rocky set up with an appointment. She was really reassuring about how they handle the dogs, which meant a lot because Rocky can be pretty nervous. That’s why I stopped taking him to Petco. Celes did his haircut and did an awesome job. They booked him for 90 minutes and gave him the full service including a shave, nail trim, ears, and glands. I went to do laundry while they worked on him, which made it really convenient. When I came back, Rocky had the biggest smile on his face. He looked completely relaxed and not nervous at all. Absolutely incredible groomer! We’ve never had anyone who kept put pup so calm and happy! She was able to file her nails down, clean her ears and glands and even brush her teeth without any complications! My wife and I adore this store, the owner and the groomer so much. If you’ve ever had an issue with a groomer before, take your pups here. I promise they will be more loved and cared for than anywhere else!

WagPride is easily the best grooming experience we’ve had. Celes and Paula treat every dog like their own, and the vibe of the shop is pure comfort and joy. My pup walked out relaxed, clean, and wagging nonstop. You can feel the love here. Highly highly recommend!

I would NOT recommend Wagpride Dog Grooming and Pet Store in Wilton Manors. We booked an in-person appointment for our two Lagotto Romagnolos and was quoted about $100 per dog. We were told Paula had extensive experience grooming the breed. When we arrived and dropped off our dogs, plans suddenly changed, and instead an apprentice groomer handled both dogs. Both dogs were completely botched so badly that we had to take them to another groomer. One of our dogs had to be shaved down to a zero to fix the damage from a completely different groomer. His coat was completely ruined by this purported "grooming". We paid $383 and were promised a refund by the owner, Lua, but she later refused to honor it. We had to dispute the charge with our credit card company. Very disappointing experience, poor
