Wag Hotels - Oakland

We had a great experience with Wags Hotel in Oakland! We brought our two dogs, Isabel and Louis, for daycare while we were out of town for a few hours and didn’t want to leave them home alone that long. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately put us at ease. I really appreciated the photo updates and the email letting us know how they were doing, it made such a difference to know they were happy and well cared for. It’s clear the team genuinely loves dogs and takes great care of them. We will absolutely be using Wags again the next time we’re out of town. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff. Updated me with photos & notes about my pups. My dogs were happy being dropped off & when I picked them up. The facility is VERY clean & any accidents were taken care of immediately. They didn’t rush anyone and took great care when checking in or checking out all guests. It is worth every penny knowing my babies are well taken care of 24 hours a day while I’m gone.

Wag Oakland is a godsend for us! The staff is always welcoming and kind, and I feel so good knowing my Luna is being well taken care of on overnight stays. And it’s also the best grooming we’ve found - esp Bryan!

Great experience! Brian and team were absolutely amazing. When we arrived, Brian came out to greet us, listened to us and delivered. This is by far the best results from a grooming experience. My pup looks great and I could tell he was well taken care of during his appointment. Highly recommend!

I have boarded my cats in the Cat Suite several times over the past three or four years. The staff seems caring and sends pictures every so often. Upon check-in, I was promised that a blanket would be placed over a somewhat dirty bed, but that never happened, as I monitored the suite cam. Also, my instructions regarding the food that was to be given did not seem to be followed. Nor was I informed at check-in that there was no groomer available to clip the cats nails. Other than that, the cats were well taken care of and were delighted to be home.
