Jack London Pet Hospital

Another impressively good experience at Jack London Pet Hospital. The facility is spacious, clean and pleasant. The tech staff are friendly, cheerful and competent. That’s all great, but the most important part, the veterinary care, is not just great, but truly outstanding. This was the third (I think) time one of our dogs has seen Dr. Kouch, and as someone who has known a few vets in my long life with pets, I can confidently say that Dr. Kouch is an exceptionally smart, thorough, responsible and responsive veterinarian. I’ve never worked with a better vet. The whole experience at JLPH is top notch, and I recommend them most highly!

JLPH is wonderful! They have always been attentive, efficient and very responsive to my questions and concerns. Dr Phimister is outstanding! I’ve never had a veterinarian as sensitive to my kitties, as responsive, as thorough or as willing to go so above and beyond for my kitties. With so many local, independent veterinary clinics being bought out by large corporations that prioritize revenue and profit over quality of care, JLPH is that much more special and deserving of support! I brought my 11 year old cat into the Jack London Pet Hospital to establish care. The person at the front desk checked us in quickly and put us in the cat room within minutes. The veterinarian technician came in to take basic information about my cat's history. After her preliminary assessment, the vet came in to complete the exam. My cat had his claws trimmed and we have scheduled an appointment for teeth cleaning. I am so impressed with the knowledge of the staff and cleanliness of the office. I am confident putting my little friend's health into their capable hands.

Everyone is so nice here. I'm so glad OAS recommended Jack London to me. The treatment my dog and I have gotten has been stellar. I have paid a bit more here compared to other vets but the price matches the service. I rather pay more and make sure my pet is well taken care of and be treated nicely.

We felt instantly valued at JLPH. Every staffer we interacted with was warm and welcoming. We spent the entire hour discussing questions and concerns with the doctor, and she was both incredibly brilliant and knowledgeable, while ensuring the information she was sharing was understood without any kind of patronization. We still hadn't been successful in having records shared from the previous vet (shout out to the egregious care at San Ramon Pet Hospital which we're grateful for wasting thousands of our dollars and hours at to lead us to this spectacular care) so there was a lot of gaps in information and we weren't made to feel shamed for not knowing certain things regarding our pets health.
