This is honestly a review that is long overdue. For context, we had our dog stay with Donovan for board & train on two occasions for weeks at a time. We have an inherently very reactive, protective, and anxious German Shepherd. We needed professional help to both jumpstart her journey, and for us to learn how to appropriately train her. Donovan was the ONLY one who would take us on and give our Sunny a chance, despite the challenges he faced during that initial meet and greet, and throughout the first stay. I also have to point out that Donovan welcomed her back this second time with open arms, an open heart, and hot dog treats for days! Von Jäger K9 is knowledgeable and skilled. My dog loves bitework days and we look forward to each training session. I am introducing my adult German Shepherd x Rottweiler to bite work so that I can be ready for my puppy. He explains everything so that I can understand not only what we're doing but also why. I see improvement after every session.

Donavan has been such an amazing resource in helping us with our malinois. He not only trains your dog but gives you a detailed instructions to continue the training helping you. We have completed the basic obedience and advanced obedience. Also some socialization training! I highly recommend him for all types of dogs and types of training.

Excellent! Highly recommend, dropped my Golden Retriever off for the week board and train while we were on vacation perfect two birds with one stone situation. Came back to a dog that was immediately and obviously a different dog in a great way! Dani was following commands and I could sense that his brain had finally clicked into knowing what training time meant, the trainer walked me through all the steps he worked with Dani on, showed me his potential for tracking and gave great advice on how to further get Dani closer to being a service dog for my son who has autism.
