Vintage Dog Ranch

We have been going to Vintage for many years. Our last visit was exceptional. Brian and staff (Mary) noticed subtle changes in our elder Great Dane and took immediate action, transporting him to our Vet 20 miles away in Napa. He had flipped his stomach (common with Great Danes), he got immediate care and emergency surgery. Our Vet noted many times that Brian and staff saved his life. He is home with us and recovering. We are forever grateful for the care and attention "Hugo" received at Vintage Kennel Club!

The Vintage Dog Ranch, is far and away the best spot for excellent dog care in Sonoma Valley. I brought my beloved Bella there when I first moved to Sonoma in 2010. Brian & Mike were wonderful to work with & Bella & I both loved going there. Bella lived to be a lovely old lady. I now have Sass, a 3 year old lab. I am happy to say, we are back at the ranch. It is such a beautiful, pristine spot, with an incredibly professional staff. I cannot say enough good things about each one of these wonderful people. The are warm, engaging and clearly love dogs of all shapes, sizes & breeds. The front staff with Kimi and all are just the best! I am so grateful to be back at ‘The Ranch.’ 5 stars for ALL! Dogs love Vintage because Vintage loves dogs. Simple as that. We have left our dogs a "the spa" for many years, during extended trips to Europe, and when we get back we find them happy, healthy, and perhaps even better than when we left. Vintage makes an extra effort to make sure the dogs hang out with comparable dogs and makes sure everyone gets along -- not always easy with our feisty Jack Russells. We are so grateful that a friend recommended Vintage many years ago.

Although I live in Napa, my dog Ellie stays at Vintage. It is worth the drive to avoid any guilt pangs when leaving her. My past dog was also a guest here years ago and loved it - especially the pool. I'm a long-term client and have enjoyed my vacations over the years more knowing that my dog has been in excellent care.

My dogs - two working dog breeds with lots of energy, stayed here for orientation today and the staff were exceptional. Facility was clean and organized. Report cards for the dogs seemed accurate to their personalities and I could get a sense of the kind of time they spent there. My dogs were pretty tired from our drive up here and exposed to many new things as we were just here visiting from Monterey, and I could tell they were attentive to how they were feeling today. I know how difficult it can be to manage lots of dogs (and their families) at the same time, but they seem to do this challenging job very well. They are going back tomorrow for another day of daycare before we leave, and we will be visiting again during future trips up here. Plus, very cute photos!
