Veterinary Way Animal Hospital

Since I can't respond to the comment left under my review here it is. The only thing I declined was blood work at my morning appointment. I told staff I'd monitor him and if he doesn't improve I'll call back and get the blood work. If Dr. Mitchell actually listened to what I was saying instead of being argumentative she would've heard me say "I'd sign the AMA" if needed. I tried to express to her I have a vet in Locust Grove, GA if his results require treatment but she kept cutting me off and making assumptions. As a dog owner I have the right to decide which vet my dog would be treated at if needed. Again, I said I'd pay the $500 deposit for blood work. I wanted to know how much of the $500 covered the blood work and she refused to answer my question and called me argumentative. I just di

Wow. Is all that I have to say about this place. It's insane how 1 physician can turn a 5 star vet office into a Zero. I'll start off and say Dr. Reid and Lauren are amazing. Dr. Mitchell, I have no words. I'm in Albany on a travel assignment and my dogs regular vet couldn't take him. I needed anxiety medication for a flight for my dog and expressed I noticed he's had diarrhea and not accepting food. I got a quote for what I needed with blood work ($450) and without ($320). I declined the blood work and expressed if he was still refusing food by 2 pm I'll bring him back same day. 2 pm comes and my dog ate but he was just acting a bit tired which he wasn't doing earlier. I asked if that was normal after multiple vaccines. Mitchell said to bring him in and it's a $500 deposit and ended up ha

We have recently started to take our dogs here due to much better prices than our previous vet office we were going to. Everyone my husband and I have had encounters with here were super nice. I recommend coming here for any of your fur babies needs!

We love Dr Odom and his staff! They all love on our sweet dogs just like they are part of their family . Our newest puppy had to have surgery on his eye & Dr.Odom was so thorough in explaining everything and they took excellent care of him . We just love Veterinary Way animal hospital. Dr. Odom and his staff really do go the extra mile to make sure your dog is cared for. Dr Odom explains things in a way you can understand and you never feel like you’re being rushed out so they can get to the next patient. We have all our dogs treated with Dr Odom and I highly recommend you give him a try for great animal care.
