Philema Animal Hospital

Philema Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing and very friendly staff. Dr.Ford is great and absolutely amazing! He listened to all the questions I had on my new horse I rescued. He is very thorough and compassionate in what he does. I am so happy I chose Philema Animal Hospital to care for my horses.

Mrs. Lakyn Frank was such a great tech. Very kind, sweet & loving. Was very patient with all our questions and concerns about our pet! Also gave us extra knowledge about our baby Skye as well! She broke down everything more simple for us to understand. She treated Skye with unconditional love & effort while we was there! This was our first impression & best impression we have had while in albany. Thank you soo much Mrs. Frank

Dr. Green and his staff are truly the best, we have been using them for a few years now and never had a bad experience our most recent experience was that my 11'year old Archie had a seizure at 1:00 am Monday morning we call the vet on call she told us exactly what to do and to bring him in at 7:30 that morning so we did, Dr. Green done his blood work he told us look fine that older dogs some time gets this, it was a scary thing to see and deal with. I just want to thank Dr. Green and his staff again and Archie is doing fine now thank you.

Clean and nice building. Very long waittimes even when you have an appointment (my experience is usually closer to 45min to an hour past our appointment time). My dogs medication cost is 6x more at the clinic vs. Wahlgreens or CVS. Staff is friendly. Boarded my dogs one time, and I was not allowed to see their boarding facility. There is a lot of staffs dogs free roaming around the clinic and my dogs prefer not to have unfamiliar dogs at their face or following them.

We had a baby squirrel in our back yard that the cats were very interested in. We live in Plains and called all around and finally found Philema Animal Hospital. They took him in and will release when he’s old enough. Thank you so much
