Veterinary Referral Surgical Practice

We had a cruciate ligament tear fix done for our pet. Dr Filer and his team did an outstanding job. We were nervous pet parents but they put our mind at ease and surgery ,overnight stay were done very efficiently. Care instructions and follow ups were done very well. Would highly recommend this place.

I visited VRSP for the first time back in July of 2024 when my golden retriever tore her CCL. Dr. Wagner was far and wide the absolute best to work with. She walked me through the procedure and gave me all the tools and instructions needed for my girl to make a full recovery. As it often happens, 5 months after the first surgery, my dog tore her other CCL. And I am using VRSP once again!

From start to finish this team has been fantastic. After surgery but before my follow up visit I received a phone call to check on Lily. The receptionist Lisa is fantastic. She is so personable and kind. Dr. Filer was thorough about the surgery and what would be done. After care was explained in details by the vet tech. I would highly recommend them.

I am extremely selective when it comes to medical care for my dogs. I care more about the quality of the care than the distance to the office or price of the procedure. My boxer had a torn ligament in her leg and Dr. Filer and his team took the absolute best care of my pup. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Filer and veterinary referral surgical practice. My black lab underwent a left tibial plateau leveling osteotomy in July. From consultation to final post-op appointment, the team at VRSP of Woodstock have been fantastic. Dr. Filer took the time to explain the procedure and post surgery expectations. He was very friendly and always provided reassuring expertise when discussing the surgery. Lisa, at the front desk, was beyond kind and helpful! The rest of the staff was a pleasure to work with.
