Five stars is not enough to say how wonderful our experience with Sweet Dreams was. We had our sweet Midas for almost 13 yrs and he was an amazing dog! We had no idea he was terminally ill until the day before we had to say goodbye. (Had HSA - the silent killer - IYKYK) We wanted to keep him home so he would be surrounded by family in his own home. I was so distraught when I reached out to Sweet Dreams. From the time I reached out until the time they took our baby away they were so kind and compassionate. Darcy, the receptionist, was so compassionate and understanding. She knew from our first conversation how distraught I was. She called back twice to check on me and to keep me updated on arrival time, etc. Dr. Akin and Leana talked us through the process and what was happening at e
We cannot say enough kind things about Sweet Dreams In-Home Pet Euthanasia. Dr. Thomas and her technician, Destiny, came to our home to help our sweet Razi cross the rainbow bridge, and from start to finish, they treated both him and our family with incredible compassion and care. Dr. Thomas and Destiny approached such a heartbreaking moment with the perfect balance of professionalism, warmth, empathy, and respect. They explained everything gently, never rushed us, and created a calm and peaceful environment during one of the hardest goodbyes we have ever had to face. In a moment filled with grief, their kindness made an unimaginable difference. We are deeply grateful for the dignity and love they showed our beloved cat, and for the comfort they gave us as a family. If you ever find you
This is a service we all hope to never need yet so need people who provide it in a way that feels supportive and compassionate. 2 weeks ago Dr. Franklin and her technician Mary helped us say goodbye to our 14ish year old Dog named Daisy. From the time I called I never felt judged, rushed, or upselled but it was clear they had built their services with a lot of care and experience. I dont know the lady on the phone's name who had the sweetest most gentle voice, she called to follow up and although I was too upset to answer I really appreciated the check in and the personalized card they sent in today. I keep Daisy's hair clippings with me and her 3 toed clay paw print is something Ill cherish forever. I also appreciated how when we made plans for them to come over the weekend they called in
We recently had to say goodbye to our 17 year old Yorkie. Being able to do that in our home, where he felt safe and loved for so many years, brought comfort to our family. Thank you for extending dignity and compassion to not only our family, but our beloved Zeus.
Parting with a beloved pet is a profound and deeply painful experience for any individual or family. The dismissive rhetoric of “it’s just a dog” or “it’s just a cat” can only come from someone who has never known the distinct pleasure of truly raising and loving a pet. When we had to make the heartbreakingly tough decision to say goodbye to our 16-year-old tabby, Sweet Dreams came highly recommended, and we’re so grateful they guided us through our cat’s final moments. The two veterinarians were so kind and empathetic from the moment they walked in. They took time to ask thoughtful questions about our pet, like her name, age, how long we’ve had her, and “what was she like?” At no point did we feel they were there to “do the job” and leave. We felt they cared about our predicament and gr
