We needed to take our Corporate mascot, Dakota, to get poked and prodded after an unfortunate fire event that wiped out a residence within which she was roaming at the time of the fire. (Then bravely protecting said smoke-filled premises from the first responders until her handler arrived on scene…) South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital, and specifically, Dr. Grasso‘s attention to detail, level of care, and the general friendly professionalism of the staff was incredible. They were able to answer all of our questions, provide thorough and detailed explanation and documentation, and have now given us a great Veterinarian clinic to rely on in the future. We could not recommend them more highly!

Can't say enough good things about South Cherokee, Dr. Hone, and the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with warmth and professionalism. The staff is friendly, compassionate, and truly cares about the animals they treat. We were looking for a new veterinarian to take our new puppy to and we have found it. I spent over 25 years managing client services at veterinary practices, so exceptional service is a priority for me. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and courteous, friendly, and willing to answer questions. The technical staff are great! They are calm and gentle with my pets and happy to answer questions. Dr. Grasso is extraordinary! He is very thorough, takes time to explain things, and is very gentle with my pets. He presents treatment options clearly and is very personable, making me feel comfortable enough to ask questions. Great vet practice !!!

Unfortunately my last visit to south Cherokee animal hospital was to have my sweet cat, Gibbs, euthanized. The doctor was kind and carefully explained the process. This was not my first euthanasia but I appreciated his kindness. I was given plenty of time to say goodbye and was not rushed in any way.

My wife and I recently had one of the finest experiences at the South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital that we have ever experienced in our lives. Our pet, Bella a boxer mix, required that three masses be removed. The skill and professionalism of Dr. Mike Grasso and his entire team was above and beyond anything else that we have ever experienced in thirty years of having multiple dogs. The detailed explanation, both pre and post surgery , was unbelievably thorough and very understandable. We were truly blessed to find this wonderful office and highly recommend them to anyone who truly loves their pets!
