The Veterinary Eye Center - Hell's Kitchen was incredible. They made us feel like family. They were so sensitive and compassionate about our concerns. They made our very nervous and shy dog feel comfortable enough to have a thorough evaluation – she was even taking treats from them by the end of the appointment. Their expertise was so reassuring. I know with certainty that if we need follow up visits, she will receive the best possible care with this team.

Dr. LoPinto and his staff are truly amazing. My senior dog, Mandu, had developed cataracts due to diabetes and was unable to see for a couple of years. After spending a long time experimenting with different insulin types and dietary changes, we finally managed to stabilize his glucose levels. Once we did, he was ready for cataract surgery which Dr. LoPinto performed in spring of 2024. Dr. LoPinto is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. His calm demeanor put us at ease, and we felt so fortunate to have Mandu in his care. From the initial consultation through the surgery and all the post-op followup appointments, the entire process was seamless. Everyone we encountered along the way was kind, professional, and clearly dedicated to what they do. The facility itself is spotless and efficient

His team is equally attentive, patient, and supportive, creating a calm and welcoming environment every time we visit. Dr. LoPinto is great. He treated our horrible situation with our Joey losing his eye with compassion. The whole team at VEC is fantastic. Everyone is warm and welcoming. I will recommend VEC to anyone that needs eye care for their little furry family members.

It was a wonderful team. We were welcomed with a friendly greeting. We were seen on time, the team of assistants made my dog very comfortable. Dr. LoPinto was efficient and caring. The plan of care was outlined clearly, I feel the doctor was taking a very common sense approach and not "looking for" anything unnecessarily exotic. For people's planning, parking is not available on the street there, unless someone can stay in the car. And fees, as fore-warned in emails with the appointment confirmation are fully priced.
