Customer Reviews
It’s a scary thing to have a medical event with your new puppy but VEG did a fantastic job taking care of us. Everyone here was so attentive, kind, caring, compassionate and took great care of us. The team did a good job explaining all the options we had for our dog with price differences which was greatly appreciated. They even took the time to explain things to my partner over the phone and answer my 11 yr old daughter’s questions. I would 100% come back here again if needed.
We brought our dog Sadie during one of the hardest moments of our lives. The team diagnosed her with cancer and were honest, compassionate, and incredibly kind every step of the way. They took the time to explain what was happening, answered our questions with patience, and—most importantly—treated our dog with dignity and gentleness. They allowed us to stay with her while they drained the fluid around her heart, making her comfortable and giving us precious time together. We never felt rushed, dismissed, or alone. What stood out most was how much they cared not just for our dog, but for us as a family. In a moment filled with fear and grief, they created a space of calm, empathy, and love. While we know our time with her is limited to days or weeks, we are deeply grateful for the comfor
VEG and their team are beyond incredible. I came in with my sweet boy, Scout, late one night for a urinary obstruction, and right away, the team got to work on my sweet baby, asking me questions and making sure I knew exactly what was going on. Throughout the entire process, everyone made sure not only that Scout was being cared for, but that I was too. Scout had received a catheter within about an hour of arriving. The team was so gentle with him and even let me stand next to him to pet him while they worked. They offered to set up a room for me to sleep in with him throughout the night. Throughout his entire stay, the staff had been so gentle with him. I loved their gentle composure and ability to bring light to scary situations. Upon Scout's discharge, the team was very kind and informa
This is hands down the best vet and emergency hospital we’ve ever been to. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much the entire team cares about both the pets and the people who love them. We’re now on our second night of hospitalization, and every single staff member has been incredible. They are extremely attentive—no matter how busy they are, they make sure every patient is well cared for. They’re thorough, compassionate, and clearly know what they’re doing. They even have rooms with pull-out beds so you can stay with your babies, which is a total game changer! My girl already has anxiety, and I couldn’t imagine having to leave her for days on end while she’s sick. We’re not out of the woods yet, but thanks to their dedication, my baby is finally on the road to recovery. I’m bey
This review is long overdue. Back in September, my dog - who was undergoing radiation for her T-cell lymphoma in Boulder - chewed the catheter out of her arm. I called her clinic in Boulder (I live in southwest Lakewood), and they told me it was a medical emergency and that I needed to bring her in immediately to have it fixed. Bear in mind, Boulder is an hour away, and we had just made that drive home an hour earlier. I was exhausted, and I truly didn’t have it in me to turn around and do the full round-trip again, especially knowing we’d be back the next morning for her next treatment. I reached out to VEG to see if this was something they could assist with. They said things were quiet and that they could take her right away. I assumed it would be expensive, but the ten-minute drive s
