K9 Summit Academy

Working with Margaret has been a game changer for us. Our dog is a high energy herding mix, and Margaret's approach to training has helped us build boundaries and trust with our pup. We thought we'd never be able to let our dog off leash, but after working with Margaret we've had amazing backpacking trips with our dog off leash. Margaret is extremely professional and friendly. She listens to us describe any issues we're having and helps us tackle them in a way that works for the dog in front of us. We appreciate the group lessons to continue working on training around other dogs and distractions. Her programming is awesome and we love working with her.

TL:DR; Margaret’s training has been the best decision we’ve made for our dogs! We were totally in over our heads with our two dogs who are close in age. Walks were miserable and recall was basically nonexistent. We participated in three weeks of Margaret’s Home School lessons with both dogs, and the difference has been incredible. She’s helped us with leash reactivity, obedience, and confidence, and gave us a solid foundation so we can keep building and growing. We were hesitant about working with a trainer and using e-collars, but Margaret made it such a positive experience. Our dogs light up when they see her and are eager to train. We were thrilled with our experience with K9 Summit Academy! Margaret helped us to train our puppy taking great care to include our children in the process. Training our kids to be responsible dog owners was a priority for us and Margaret did amazing job. Margaret has great communication and is a skilled trainer. I would highly recommend her to any family that needs support!

Highly recommend working with Margaret. Our dog experiences a lot of unpredictable reactivity where having guests over, walking her and seeing other dogs became very stressful. I wish we would have signed up for training sooner. Margaret is calm, professional, reliable, and personal. She also also carries treats, so our dog loves her!

Such a great experience from start to finish. Margaret helped us with our dog's leash skills, which he desperately needed after living most of his life off-leash. She was knowledgeable and patient with us though the whole process, and super fun to work with. We will definitely be coming back for help with our other dogs!
