We had an exceptional experience at VEG during one of the most frightening nights of our lives as pet parents. Our dog was brought in after experiencing severe cluster seizures, and from the moment I walked through the door, I felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. The open-concept layout made a huge difference — being able to stay with our dog in a quiet, padded room overnight brought so much comfort. The facility itself is thoughtfully designed, from the clean bathroom facilities to the water and coffee station, which meant a lot while I was exhausted and overwhelmed. 5/5! Hands down great experience and exactly what I wanted and needed. I brought my kitty Finn in the late evening from Kingman for emergency care and Oxygen. I went to another emergency clinic (Tropicana) and wasn't even greeted for 15 mins. At Veg Finn was triaged as soon as I walked in the door. Exactly what I wanted and he needed. I am in the Veterinary field and always thought ppl being with their pets the entire time was odd and could be problematic. I was wrong, It was one of the coolest experiences. You get to be with your baby while they are getting everything they need and you can sit and see why you are waiting, unlike other clinics, where you sit in a room with your pet or a waiting room while your pet is away from you. My dog was recently the victim of a horrific coyote attack in our own backyard. This facility’s rating is not near high enough, in my opinion! They deserve 5+ stars. My dog could not wait for medical attention or care, as his injuries were extensive, and he didn’t have to wait. WhenI brought him in, they yelled for triage and the action began, right in front of my eyes. The clinic is open floor plan. I could see all of his care and he could see me. Not only is ALL of the staff amazingly supportive, attentive, and kind, but their medical team is the best I’ve seen. Our surgeon, who performed two surgeries and provided critical care to my dog, was beyond impressive as a clinician, and her bedside manner was unsurpassed. We were helped by Dr. Levi and his staff. The clinic was busy. He was just amazing. Our pet has congestive heart failure. Our entire experience was like being with family. Empathetic care, professional staff, open concept clinic, transparency on billing, we were given treatment options, they immediately reported to our pet’s Cardiologist via email and phone call, we were amazed. The clinic is pristine, they have comfortable accommodations for us, and we were able to be with our pet while she was being treated. I am from out of town and came to VEG. They were amazing, triaged my pet as soon as I walked in to establish acuity. They were very busy with sicker pets than mine so my wait was longer. That was OK. I was very impressed with their work dynamics and treatment efficiency. It really felt like an emergency room and I would recommend this veterinarian office to anybody in need of emergency services for their pet. It was also really quiet and calm inside the clinic.
