Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central Florida | Orlando, FL

Took my chihuahua into this ER today. She was sickly, history of heart problems (enlarged) and liver problems. The staff was wonderful, more specifically Leslie whom we dealt with the most. My fur baby was given oxygen and we were given options, knowing outcome was unknown. While we made the painful decision to let her go, amazingly our sweet girl waited until she saw us one last time, felt our caress, love and kisses and she crossed the rainbow bridge on her own, before euthanasia had started. Her own terms, she was ready. Thank you to Leslie and everyone there for your help and compassion. My heart is broken but she was ready to let go. Always in my heart forever - we love you Bailey!

I always seem to end up here in a distracted mindset and never remember to leave a review. I have been to this place numerous times over the last 10 years with numerous pets for a myriad of reasons. We even put one pet down here. Every time they are lovely, compassionate and professional. Tonight the vet staff took extra time to ensure our Aussie was comfortable before any administering of shots. She’s always tough for vets but since he let her lead she did great. I was not expecting that for an emergency situation. Kudos to the compassionate staff!

Terrible experience. Do not recommend. I took my dog to this so-called emergency clinic, and there was absolutely nothing “emergency” about it. We waited over one hour while my dog was crying in pain, and we were desperate not knowing how to help her. During that time, the only thing the staff seemed concerned about was making sure we filled out and signed paperwork for everything they might do—clearly focused on charging, not on care. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, the doctor finally showed up. She did not properly introduce herself, barely examined my dog, spoke very unclearly, and seemed rushed and indifferent. Incredibly happy with the care and customer service at this location. We had to take our Pekingese here a few months ago for hip pain. They were super accommodating and helpful, so when my Japanese Chin ate a grape, we knew exactly where we wanted to take her for care and interventions. They took her in immediately and have kept her over the weekend. I received text messages with updates and was allowed to come and visit her. The staff is friendly and kind. So glad to know there is an emergency clinic so close to home.

Even in an emergency keep driving past this place! If I could give negative stars I would. I waited four hours to be told they didn’t know what was wrong with my dog and the amount of blood was not profuse enough to deem it an emergency. The discharge medical documentation was completely wrong- which is astronomically medically unethical and incompetent! Just legally and morally so wrong! I had used this place before with reasonable care so in benefit of the doubt as my dog was still bleeding the next day I called back to inform them and share my ongoing concern and now extreme upset about the entire situation. They offered no assistance or console. Kept telling me to bring her back at my expensive despite recognizing their errors. They did not care in the least bit. Medical incompete
