Veterinary Dental Specialties and Oral Surgery

My dogs had a visit to a veterinary dentist today. We discussed a root canal and extractions. This was an eye-opening experience! The dentist had profound knowledge of canine teeth as human dentists would know about human teeth. Hopefully, my fur-babies will feel much better after surgery.

The staff here is great. They take good care of my pup when he is here. I found this place back in 2020 when my dog broke his jaw. They did a great job fixing him and now we are getting regular cleanings done.

I came to see what can be done about my service dog's fractured tooth. They are grossly overpriced...the surgery would have cost between $3800-$4300. They do not consider that this is my service dog, and that I am an unemployed Veteran living on a limited budget. I walked away from them when a trusted friend told me that this establishment is charging too much for their services. Overall, I am incredibly disappointed. They left me thinking that all they are concerned about is how much money they can drain from a person in the name of your pet or in my case, my service animal. Also, for being a veterinary service, I was shocked at the lack of knowledge they had about service dogs. There is always so much to learn.
