Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital

I am writing this review to warn other pet owners, especially first time owners, about my deeply concerning experience with Petco’s Vetco clinic. I brought in a very sick kitten I had rescued off the side of the road. From the beginning, I made it explicitly clear that I had never owned a cat before and that I needed everything a cat would need to go home healthy and keep. I trusted the staff — Risa, Crystal, and Susie — to guide me appropriately. I was shown a “package,” which I purchased, believing this would include proper evaluation and care. At the time of the visit, the kitten had visible hair loss all over its body, appeared mangy and unwell ( this was documented in the vets notes), and I repeatedly expressed concern that it might be ringworm. Amazing!! very professional facility and Dr. Acevedo was amazing. I had Bianca as my tech she did amazing explaining everything, down to the pricing and what each medication was for very professional sweet young lady. She did an amazing job with my dog, my dog is definitely not the easiest dog to deal with. I will definitely be coming back :)

We took our Great Pyrenees to see Dr. Acevedo and she was great! She spent plenty of time with us to explain our pets medical conditions and make recommendations. Her tech, Resia was very helpful and took her time listening to us and documenting our pets issues. Really surprised that Petco had such great people! They made all the difference!

Took my dog, Peach, in for an ear infection and skin allergies. Resia was very loving to Peach and explained all the steps in her care. Dr. Krueger was thorough in checking out Peach. She gave several options to provide the best care to help Peach within my budget. Clean facility, quiet environment. Friendly staff. Will be returning.

Dr. Acevedo and Bianca took their time and addressed all my concerns regarding Penny’s allergies. Penny and I left their office feeling much better. I believe she will receive real good care from Dr Acevedo and Bianca.
