Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital

I was told great things about this place. Sadly communication and common sense is not found here. I’ve had my cat for 7 years. I’ve also worked at a vet clinic myself and never have I had to have my cat shaved for a blood draw. Not only did they shave multiple spots and large portions of my cat they also didn’t mention that’s what they were going to do or even ask if that was okay with me. To top it all off they improperly handled the bloodwork and called to tell me they can give me a refund or I can redrug my cat and bring him back in for another blood draw. Highly upset and dissatisfied. Terrible experience and that vet tech was very snippy and rude with me from the get go. I do not recommend. 0/10. The only good thing about the visit was the lovely receptionist, she was great.

I had been to another vet recently and had a horrible experience. But Vetco restored my faith in vets. The tech was very thorough and they were very transparent about prices. When the vet had to deliver tough news she did it very respectfully and was honest that the previously mentioned tests were no longer necessary. They gave me very helpful handouts for keeping my cat comfortable and enjoying a little longer together

I'm glad I read these reviews seems like from the last 8 months until now there's not a positive review. It has a positive review from a year ago then the more recent. I will definitely not be bringing my sweet baby Twilight here. Thank you for the reviews.

I rarely write a review but this is a must need it to aware people. I went to vetco since good experiences in Louisville, whoever here is not being nothing else than a nightmare. They are RUDE and disrespectful with you and your time. Since you arrive the receptionist will let you wait until she finish work in her computer (changing prices or checking something, by her own words). In EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT you will be waiting at least 30 min because they are always busy, whoever if you arrive 5 min after the time for FIRST time they will reschedule, because you can be understanding but they won’t. Always a great experience with staff, never in a rush and always give great details of the service and makes my cat and I feel very comfortable. You can tell love of animals with all of them. Highly recommend
