Access Veterinary Care

I can’t say enough good things about Access. The entire team is always so helpful, considerate, and genuinely kind. They treat my dog like the wonderful baby she is, which means everything to me. They’re timely in their responses, take the time to listen to my concerns, and never make me feel rushed. It’s such a relief knowing my pup is in caring, capable hands.

I've been taking my two dogs to Access for several years, and unfortunately, something happened that made me so unhappy that I will not give another dime to that place. I had made appointments for their annual vaccines and checkup. Since I made the appointment on the same day, I had to pay a fee to hold that appointment. I was also given sedatives for one of my dogs who has really bad anxiety, and they require that she takes it before being seen. On the day of my appointments, I took my first dog in, paid hundreds of dollars as usual for his shots and his appointment. And then when it came time for the second appointment, I had gotten my times mixed up. I thought it was at 3:30 p.m., when really it was 3 p.m. My phone rang, and the vet was calling me at 3:08 p.m. to ask if I was still comi

I’m really frustrated with the recent changes this clinic has made. They now require pet owners to physically come in to pick up a written prescription and then mail it to an outside pharmacy every single time medication is needed if it’s not purchased directly through their clinic. This process is extremely inconvenient and unnecessary, especially when many other vets are able to send prescriptions electronically or directly to pharmacies. It feels like an added barrier to get us to purchase directly through Access rather than a focus on client care. I used to like the level of care here, even though prices are slightly higher than other clinics nearby, but changes like this have ultimately pushed me to move my two dogs to another veterinarian, even though this clinic is only a three mi

Access Vet in New Albany is a great place to go! Everyone there is helpful and nice!! They are not pushy and are the most thorough people I have ever encountered in a vets office over the years. Beena thanks you too!

I have a dog that really doesn't like strangers, he's very reactive towards them. Going to the vet is always a nightmare, but they made everything so easy! The staff were so patient with him and came up with ideas to help him feel more comfortable. By the end of the appointment, he had made friends with the vet and multiple techs and was even able to get an injection without any sedatives or other drastic measures. I'm so used to vets dismissing us, not even doing a basic exam, sending us home with more prescriptions to get him to be more sedated next time and I can tell that they're annoyed that he's being so difficult but not Access Vet Care! They were amazing, I'd recommend them to anyone!
