(Read the whole review) We found Dr. Levine on google, and were amazed. His prices were lower than any vet in the area, and having a vet visit us at home was a lifesaver, one of our cats is extremely anxious and nearly has a heart attack when taken to a physical vet. We used him for two years, for checkups, and everything was great, he and his assistant were fantastic, lovely people. Unfortunately, in February, our cat had a seizure. After the seizure was over, we called Dr. Levine and made an appointment for the next day. Citing that he felt her kidney was enlarged, he scheduled us for an ultrasound at a vet downtown. After getting the results, he told us "her kidneys look fine, I am just a little confused because I swear one kidney felt much larger than the other." "I have an appointmen
I worked with Dr Levine when my cat unfortunately got very sick and I had to make a difficult decision. Dr Levine was very kind and took the time to speak with me multiple times before making the appointment. I didn’t find this level of attention with other providers, and I did speak with several as an at-home euthanasia appointment typically needs to be booked with a few days notice. I really appreciate the time Dr Levine took during a very difficult period. I will certainly look to work with him in the future and would highly recommend to others. Thank you!
Dr. Lavine cared for my senior cat Buster since 2018. He's wonderful --very warm, caring and involved in every aspect of his care from physical to behavioral and quality of life. Although Buster had serious health problems, including arthritis, autoimmune disease, IBD and hypertension, he was terribly stressed during in-office vet visits so I chose to forego X-rays, ultrasounds and invasive procedures, instead keeping Buster at home and comfortable until he passed away 3 months shy of his 19th birthday. I'm very happy with the care he received, including appropriate medicines, vitamin B12 shots etc. Cleo is also terrific. They'd feed Buster treats and peanut butter at the end of every visit, and he loved them both.
Extremely attentive, caring, and he does his due diligence. He knows his stuff! All I can say is a big thank you to Dr. Lavine. You helped me in a bad situation even when I was In Orlando, you were able to recommend me to another vet down here on a dimes notice. Great communicator and you can tell he loves what he does!
Dr Levine and Jillian were exceptional. They took the time to ensure my kitties were calm and comfortable during their visit, and were extremely thorough in understanding their histories and recommending immediate next steps as well as plans for their long-term health. I’m so glad I found them and encourage fellow animal lovers in NY who are looking for convenient, caring and affordable care to reach out! Thanks again, Jillian and Dr Jeff!
